Where there’s a will, there is a way when it comes to showing our local community that we care by contributing to a meaningful cause. Luigi La Tona, our CEO and spokesperson, was one of 10 volunteers who took part in CSR activities conducted online by Angel Hearts. The nonprofit organisation is dedicated to putting in the time and effort to offer bereaved families a helping hand in times of need.
Volunteers from StorHub helped out by sewing angel-shaped trinkets onto cards which are subsequently included in the packaging with the baby garments that get sent to the respective hospitals. A touching message that reads “Angels watching over me” is engraved on every trinket. On top of that, our volunteers penned their own heartfelt note on the card. Everyone who took part in the activities exuded positive energy as each of them knew that they were touching the beneficiaries’ lives and that what they did would cheer the recipients up. All participants thoroughly relished the process of learning sewing skills while forming a bond with one another at the same time virtually and in the flesh.
Apart from providing our partners with storage units as a gesture of goodwill and to be supportive of their meaningful causes, StorHub’s CSR initiative also gets us personally involved in hands-on activities that align with our CSR values to enable and change the lives of people in the community for the better. We take pleasure in helping our partners make a difference through their handicrafts, utilising their available resources with the storage space that keeps their items safe and secure while they give back to the community. StorHub is of the opinion that our CSR endeavors are part and parcel of creating thriving communities and letting each individual reach their full potential.
