We are pleased to share that StorHub Self Storage (Singapore) has been nominated by the Self Storage Association Asia at the Self Storage Awards Asia 2022 as a nominee of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Initiative Award. At StorHub, we are committed to promoting a robust ESG culture across the board and will remain steadfast in our concerted effort to keep on achieving our ESG goals. Our ESG objective is to aim for maximum financial returns while creating a positive social and environment impact through good governance practices.
StorHub takes pride in conducting business in an honest and ethical manner, demonstrated by making sure employees are well-informed of the company’s Code of Ethics through the dissemination of our rigorous policies. On top of that, all employees also complete a training on the Foreign Corruption Practices Act (FCPA).
Initiatives that have brought about desirable effects in the environment include the installation of solar panels at our facilities, making Electric Vehicle charging stations available to customers on site, having our buildings equipped with energy efficient lights, adding a lush green garden on our rooftop, and implementing a recycling campaign at our storage facilities.
Finally, StorHub also makes it a point to create positive social effects such as ensuring that all staff are eligible for training sessions for upskilling, complimentary health and dental checkups, free fruits, and healthy food and beverage options in the pantry area. Additionally, we are all about giving back to the community through partnerships that change lives for the better. We do so by being enablers to our partners so that they can make full use of their resources through creating spaces for the safekeeping of the items used for serving the community.
