StorHub Self Storage Opens New Facilities in Singapore to Meet Demand

Singapore, January 1, 2023 - With the rise in demand for storage space, StorHub Singapore announced the recent opening of five new self storage facilities located in Jurong West, West Coast, Marsiling (Riverside Road), Hougang (91 Defu Lane) and Bukit Batok No. 9, bringing self storage to new neighbourhoods to serve the local community as well as to existing neighbourhoods where StorHub facilities are already easily accessible to residents. StorHub Jurong West is situated in a populous town in the West region close to the Corporation Flyover and community amenities like food centres, parks and schools. StorHub West Coast which is near bustling districts such as Jurong East and Clementi is a stone’s throw away from residential areas, shopping malls and healthcare facilities. The remaining three newly opened facilities, Marsiling (Riverside Road), Hougang (91 Defu Lane) and Bukit Batok No. 9 are all in the immediate vicinity of our existing facilities that are conveniently located within walking and driving distance of the respective new facilities.

This brings the gross floor area of StorHub to 2.1 million sq. ft. in Singapore across the 18 self storage facilities. StorHub Singapore currently also has 10 Space Next Door facilities islandwide. At present, the StorHub self storage network within the Asian region also includes key markets like Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong with 6 facilities, and China with 17 facilities. We are also looking to open our first facility in Australia in Q’2 2023.
